No running today, strength training focussing on core body strength. Most people thing of their core as being just their abs, but for runners it includes the hamstrings, glutes, all the muscles around the hips and lower back as well as the oblique muscles. It's important that these muscles are strong as they are going to be working hard to support the body for anything from 6 to 12 hours at a time.
